The American League wins yet again

It was a game where pitching dominated as the American League won 4-3 over the National League. The AL got off to a quick start with 2 runs in the first and then the National League took a 3-2 lead on 3 runs in the second that all scored after 2 out were made. It was nice to see one of my favorite players Curtis Granderson hit a triple and score what turned out to be the winning run. The pacing of the game was fast and I think there were quite a few players who didn’t get into the game which is unusual. So the American League will have home field advantage in the World Series again. Does it mean anything? Just ask the 06 Tigers and the 08 Rays. They had the advantage yet still lost.

On a side note President Obama threw out the first pitch. Security happened to be pretty tight at the ballpark and the President even stuck around for about an hour to watch the game.

Next year’s game is in Anaheim. 2011 is in Arizona.
